Cybercodes.com / Gallery / HP Components 1998 Yearbook
The Components 1998 Yearbook is an internal HP site for the Components group. Using the then-standard HP design elements (top and bottom banners), the site was designed to house a large number of photographs taken throughout the year.
Broken into several sections, the site reads much like a magazine, although a linear approach (next/forward links) is available for those who want to take a full tour of images.
A full thumbnail gallery was also used.
Responsibilities: all photo scanning/preparation of photos (received both in electronic and hard formats), all design, all HTML implementation.
Timeline: February 1999-March 1999. Site live in March 1999.
Site: web.sj.hp.com/yearbook98/; internal

attitude adjustment: the rules of the bazaar
HP's Mobile E-Services Bazaar has proven that an unusual and collaborative - maybe even bizarre - approach to defining, developing, and deploying e-services can and does work. Indeed, with its small global team, it is hard to believe the number of successes rolling out of the bazaar - and rolling they are. With a speed uncommon and unexpected in many large corporations, the Bazaar crafts and polishes e-services bundles culled from companies around the world - big and small.
