Cybercodes.com / Gallery / The Devzone, June 1997
(site replaced by 1998 redesign of Image.hp.com)
The DevZone was a
sub-site of the Imaging for Internet HP site and was designed to house developer-specific information and to foster a community of Imaging for Internet developers.
The look-and-feel of this site needed to maintain the layout and visual motif established in the newly designed super-site, but needed to remain clearly a "separate" section.
The navigation I developed for this sub-site maintained the horizontal categories of the
larger site and then incorporate a secondary level of horizontal categories for the DevZone. As in the larger site, the secondary categories are highlighted to reflect the current page.
My work on the DevZone site included site design, layout, new banners, and all necessary HTML coding of content provided by Hewlett-Packard.
During the run of this separate site, I handled all design, all daily updates and as-needed HTML work. Initial design and project completion: July 1997.

attitude adjustment: the rules of the bazaar
HP's Mobile E-Services Bazaar has proven that an unusual and collaborative - maybe even bizarre - approach to defining, developing, and deploying e-services can and does work. Indeed, with its small global team, it is hard to believe the number of successes rolling out of the bazaar - and rolling they are. With a speed uncommon and unexpected in many large corporations, the Bazaar crafts and polishes e-services bundles culled from companies around the world - big and small.
